If it feels like restaurants and stores are opening left and right in Chandler, your observation would be spot-on; development in the East Valley city is hot right now.

According to the city, retail vacancy in Chandler is at 5.8% as of March, which is “the lowest recorded rate in more than 10 years.” In the last several months, a number of restaurants, dessert shops and retail stores have opened — and more new businesses are slated to open in the near future.
